Why Plastisol?

One Material. Infinite Potential.

Plastisol begins as ultra-fine PVC particles perfectly dispersed in a liquid plasticizer. When heated to the correct temperature (which depends on the formulation), the PVC particles swell, absorb the plasticizer, and fuse into a permanent, solid plastic that looks and feels like rubber. The result is an incredibly durable plastic that never cracks, degrades, or returns to a liquid state.

What Sets Plastisol Apart

 

Plastisol offers limitless colour possibilities. We perform precise colour matching in-house to guarantee exceptional batch-to-batch consistency.

Plastisol has a naturally “warm to the touch”, soft feel that improves ergonomic grip, reduces operator fatigue, and makes hand-held tools easy to use.

With a soft, impact-resistant surface, plastisol can reduce metal-on-metal sounds (BSR) in industrial and automotive parts.

Plastisol has high dielectric strength and doesn’t conduct heat or electricity. It is ideal for insulating high-power components to protect operators.

Resistance to strong acids, alkaline environments, and aggressive oils makes plastisol ideal for industrial racks and tooling.

Plastisol stands up to the elements and prevents rust and oxidation of the metal surface beneath, including during prolonged salt spray.

Plastisol is tough enough to handle just about anything. We can produce Plastisol with a Shore A hardness rating of up to 95.

Plastisol can also be used as masking for other secondary coating applications, coming away cleanly in one piece when the job is done.

Adhesion Primers

 

Bonded for Good.

We formulate and manufacture high-adhesion plastisol primers in-house. Applied before the vinyl topcoat, our primers build an active molecular anchor directly on challenging substrates, including metal, glass, and technical fabrics. During the thermal curing cycle, the primer and vinyl topcoat fuse into a single, cohesive barrier.
